The Greensboro Pride Parade returns as a vibrant, community-powered celebration of LGBTQIA+ visibility, resilience, and joy.

Featuring community organizations, nonprofits, corporate partners, marching bands, performance groups, and community leaders, the parade kicks off Pride Day and leads directly into the Greensboro Pride Festival.

This year’s parade marks a milestone anniversary for Greensboro Pride, bringing together tens of thousands of spectators and participants from across the Triad and beyond to celebrate authenticity, advocacy, and community.

The Entertainer Stage showcases beloved local talent and emerging artists, offering a more intimate experience where you can connect with the vibrant creativity of our community.

KidZone

A colorful, family-friendly haven filled with engaging activities, crafts, and interactive fun designed for our youngest festival-goers. The KidZone is a safe and welcoming space where children can play, create, and celebrate pride alongside their families.

Please Note: The KidZone is designed only for young people under the age of 21 and their family, parents, or legal guardians. The KidZone is a tobacco, drug, and alcohol free zone, and any disruptive or harassing behavior is prohibited. Any visitor to the KidZone may be asked to leave at any time at the sole discretion of IMPAQT GSO.

Adults Only Alley

A curated section of the festival featuring vendors and merchandise with adult themes, intended for guests 18 and over. While not a party zone, this area offers products and content that are best suited for mature audiences.

All Access VIP Lounge

Housed in a private, air-conditioned indoor venue just steps from the festival’s main stage, the ticketed All Access VIP Lounge offers a comfortable escape from the crowds with lounge seating, private restrooms, and a relaxed atmosphere. VIPs enojy a catered lunch, complimentary beer and wine, guaranteed Meet & Greets, exclusive swag, and front-of-the-line access to everything the festival has to offer.

Food Truck Rodeo

Follow your appetite to the Food Truck Rodeo — a mouthwatering lineup of local favorites serving up everything from savory bites to sweet treats. With dozens of diverse food trucks in one central area, there's something delicious for every taste and craving!

Is the Greensboro Pride Parade accessible?

Yes. The Greensboro Pride Parade is planned with accessibility in mind and follows the City of Greensboro’s accessibility standards for public events in downtown spaces. Accessibility features such ascurb ramps, paved routes, and accessible restrooms are provided where available. Because the parade takes place on public streets and sidewalks, accessibility may vary by location, and attendees are encouraged to plan aheadand choose viewing areas that best meet their needs.

Is There Parking, and It Is Accessible?

We strongly encourage attendees to use downtown Greensboro public parking decks and lots for the easiest and most reliable access to the parade and festival. Most decks operate at city-set hourly or flat daily rates and are centrally located, well-lit, and within walking distance of the parade route and festivala reas. Street parking is limited. Are costumes or branding allowed?

Yes. Costumes, signage, and branding are welcome, provided they comply with IMPAQT GSO guidelines, public safety standards, and applicable laws.

Is the parade family-friendly?

Yes. The Greensboro Pride Parade is family-friendly and celebrates LGBTQIA+visibility and community. Attendees may see expressive costumes and performances typical of Pride events

How large can a group be?

Most categories allow up to 100 participants per entry. Larger groups should consider sponsorship options to secure space.

Can vehicles and floats participate?

Yes —floats and vehicles are permitted but space is limited and allocated on a first-come basis.

Are there fees to participate?

Yes —parade applications may have associated fees unless provided complimentary through certain sponsorship packages.
